About Aarav Vijai
I’m a 16-year-old high school student at Oberoi International School, and since more than couple of years, I’ve been passionately pursuing my initiative — ‘Sketch for a Cause.’ Beyond academics, I have a wide range of interests including sketching, performing arts (storytelling, speech, and drama), sports, coding, cooking, and more.
These passions shape who I am and fuel my drive to make a meaningful impact through creativity. This initiative is rooted in a personal journey of resilience and a desire to empower children with disabilities. After being wheelchair-bound for six months, I experienced firsthand the struggles of limited mobility.
This inspired me to start “Sketches for a Cause,” where I turned my hand-drawn portraits into badges and merchandise to raise funds for underprivileged children. Post receiving positive response from my family & friends, I extended my product portfolio from 1 to 11 while selling offline. Online, collaborations with other like minded NGOs/ institutions.
My Mission
To transform art into impact by creating and selling sketch-based merchandise that raises funds for children with no access to educational and medical facilities. Through #SketchForACause, we aim to blend creativity with compassion to drive meaningful change.
